For this task, we had to film a boring task, like a morning routine. To film it we had to use different camera angles and duration shots to try and make it as interesting as possible. Additionally, I added music to make the clip as it made it more engaging for the viewers.

For this task, I had to analyse a short clip from Sherlock and whenever there was a editing shot that was either a short/ long distance shot, continuity editing, match on action, shot/ reverse shot, cutaway, or a fast/ slow paced sequenced I had to insert a title where it appeared and state what the shot was.

To create my animatic I used Adobe Premiere, I took screenshots of each individual picture on my storyboard and imported them into Premiere. I added appropriate sound effects to each of the pictures from my storyboard to create the atmosphere similar to what i’m wanting to create in my final movie opening.

This is my storyboard which has nine freeze frames of the main shots that help with the structure of my film opening. The first shot shows one character buying a newspaper and then putting the drugs In the newspaper. Then the character is shown walking towards the bench to sit down and wait for the other character, who is buying the drugs to arrive. Furthermore, we see that the first character gets up and then leaves the second character with the newspaper, then they eventually get up and leave. This gives me and guide and structure for the I have to film my opening.
